Hiking the Appalachian Trail

The Appalachian Trail, also known as the AT, is a legendary long-distance hiking trail that spans almost 2,200 miles across 14 states in the eastern US. It starts at Springer Mountain, Georgia, and ends at the peak of Mount Katahdin in Maine. This iconic trail offers hikers breathtaking scenic views, diverse landscapes, and challenging terrains.

Setting out on a thru-hike is no small feat. I should know. In 2023, I started in Georgia with my sister Church Mouse. Five months later, we reached Mount Katahdin.
